Everyone needs to go out and pick up Heart #1 Blair Butler.

I don't even like MMA, but I absolutely loved this issue.
Just picked up my books - Store got shorted on Avengers: Origins (LAME) so the clerk gave me some cards and a copy of Uncanny X-Men. :\

This week's list. Looking to cut half of those off the list before next month. Making hard choices here. More thoughts here.
Just Frankenstein, Pigs, Batwoman, and a few things I couldn't get last week.
More info here, but here's the short version:

Demon Knights #3
Frankenstein, Agent of S.H.A.D.E. #3
Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #4
Uncanny X-Force #17
The Unwritten #31

Might pick up Avenging Spider-Man. We'll see.
Sooooo... As I am a week behind on all my comics, I just got an interesting weeks worth of readings and, well, they really hit on both ends of the spectrum. I wont go through everything, but as noting a few things. I don't need to tell you but I finally read my first issue of Waid's DD, and oh man was it awesome. As were Sweet Tooth, Action Animal Man (although I wish it were moving a bit faster), Swamp Thing (which I felt started going and I really enjoyed both artists on the issue), and Uncanny. I'm still digging on OMACtivate as well, but I don't know how long I'll stick around if it is just OMAC smash, although I liked the hint that Kevin might be taking some control in the OMAC form as he told Brother Eye to shut up. The real oddity of the week was Infinite Vacation (which is also funny since yesterday was Continental Interdependence Day). I love the art in this book, even though the 'real photo' sections drain so much from the stunning coloring and layouts, but my wariness of Nick Spencer is increasing with ever issue of his I read. I don't know who read this so I guess I'll stick this in spoilers:

This being said, and I kind of hate that this, I still want to read issue 4 as it is beautiful and has potential to tell a really interesting story, but man, Nick Spencer is making this really hard on me. He turned me off THUNDER Agents with the last couple issues after an amazing start (which might be the DCnU turn over and his signing with Marvel's fault), and his Jimmy Olsen stuff was great, but Morning Glories stinks, and I've not really read any of his Marvel so... I guess I'm fishing for ideas on Spencer as a whole.
I like what I read of Morning Glories, the first 10 or so. Iron Man 2.0 did the same type of decline you said of THUNDER Agents, though I don't think Thunder Agents went through that decline, not being cut off by a Fear Itself tiein may have helped with that. I actually think Iron Man 2.0 is resurging(just in time for cancellation) though I wish it were anyone but Olivetti on art.

This week's list:

Atomic Robo #6.3
Mudman #1
Justice League #3
Wonder Woman #3
Batman #3

The pull list is finally starting to settle down. Still unsure on Batman, but I liked Snyder's 'Tec run so much, he gets a little more rope. Glad to see a new Paul Grist series, but kind of afraid of its ability to stay on schedule.
Venom 9
The Shade 2
Wonder Woman 3
Batman 3

Probably X-23 17 cause the preview looked like the kinda thing I'd enjoy.

Mudman #1
Thunderbolts #165
Venom #9
Wonder Woman #3

Seriously guys, A NEW PAUL GRIST BOOK.
