Iron Fist + Brother Power = Power Fist
Iron Fist + Batman = Bat Fist
Power Man + Brother Power = Brother Man
Superman + Power Man = Super Power
Batgirl + Hellcat = Cat Bat
Klaw + Lex Luthor = Sound Reasoning
Black Cat + Catwoman = Awwwww yeah...
Spider-Man + Ambush Bug = Ambush Man

I accept Chris's name challenge.
Cassandra Cain + X-23 = Cassandra-23
Deathstroke + Taskmaster = Deathmaster (And you thought Deathstroke was a ludicrous name)
Cable + Booster Gold = Booster Cable (He's also a great guy to have in case your car breaks down)
Spider-Man + Static Shock = Spider-Shock?

Captain Marvel + Thor = Captain Thor
Bucky + Jason Todd = Robuck/The Red Soldier
Lex Luthor + Norman Osborn = Lex Luthborn/The Kryptonite Goblin
Red Skull + Captain Nazi = Nazi Skull (He couldn't be more evil if he tried)
Aquaman + Hercules = Aqua-Hercules (I'm basically looking to recreate the Brave and the Bold's Aquaman)
Powergirl + She-Hulk = Fanservice-girl/She-Power?
Reed Richards + Will Magnus = The Best Scientist Ever

I'm shocked to find some of you not taking this name game seriously enough.

I'm also delighted to see some of you not taking it seriously at all.

I think the trick to a good Amalgam name isn't to just smash the two names together, but to find something that really works for what this new character is supposed to be (and that doesn't sound tooo ridiculous or like it's trying too hard to say, "GET IT?!? It's this guy PLUS this guy!"

"Super Soldier" for the Captain America/Superman mashup is a perfect example of this. You still get the "super" in there for Superman, but there's some precedent within the character of Captain America for the title as well, and they didn't just call him Captain Super or Americaman.

Clearly, I have spent far too much time thinking very seriously about the Amalgam Universe.

Batman + Quicksilver = Silver Bat
Batman + Wonder Man = Wonder Bat
Flash + Speedball = Ball Flash
Mister Miracle + Wolverine = Mirakill
Man-of Butts + Prince of Orphans = Prince of Butts
Don't count becaus they're within the same company, but I couldn't resist:
Mister Miracle + Catwoman = Miracle Whip
Batman + The Flash = Bat Flash

Some of these already exist. Bucky/Jason Todd showed up in Bruce Wayne: Agent of SHIELD (can't remember what he was called), which oddly enough predicted the whole Winter Soldier/Red Hood thing.

I liked when they combined completely different characters simply because their names were sort of similar. Like:

Ka-Zam, Wizard of Savage Rockland
Flint Morpheus, The Sandman
Loki Lemaris
Logan Garfield, Wolverling
Pig Iron Man
Barry "The Flash" Thompson

Red Robin + Iceman = Arctic Owl (it's an alternate, and cooler, name for the Snowy Owl)

That idea came about due to my wish to have the combined universe that JLA vs. Avengers teased us with. I imagined a world where Tim and Bobby Drake were cousins: cousins who were both trained by the Bat. But that idea now leads me to think of a Amalgamation of the Bat-family with Spider-man and his Amazing Friends.

Nightwing + Firestar = Flamebird ('cause if Grayson had fire-based powers, he'd of picked the other Kryptonian hero)

Now I'm stuck on whether to have Peter Parker bitten by a radioactive bat, or to have Bruce Wayne be afraid of spiders.

No, no Mxy, you've got it all wrong, Jason Todd was combined with Deathlok, not Bucky.
And they definitely got a little pun-happy during the crossover, combining characters with no similarities whatsoever solely to create 'funny' names.

Batman + Black Panther = Bat-Panther. You're welcome World.
