You and your party of three members of the elite Justice Bringing Peace Heroes have arrived at the Lair of Dr. Death, Ph.D. to finally bring him to justice because you got a warrant placed on his ass. Name yourself and prepare to enter the lair to see if you can survive.

(OOC: So this will be a sort of superhero Shadowgate. There will be 4 heroes in each round each with their own name, powers and personality that will be developed.

Everyone can suggest one hero by posting with the following info

Name: (what is the name of your superhero, if relevant to character, what is the name of the alternate identity)
Gender: male, female or other (describe)
Age: Youth, Teen, Young Adult, Adult, Senior (describe where they are in aging process, like an elf teen could be 200)
Height: obvious
Weight: obvious
Power: Armored - ala Iron Man/Robocop
Blaster - ala Cyclops
Behemoth - ala the Hulk/Thing
Chosen - object of power - randomly given
Detective - ala Batman's detectiveing
Elemental - ala Human Torch/Iceman
Gadgeteer - ala Batman minus the martial arts
Ghost - ala Kitty Pryde or Ghost
Inventor - has the tech, can design tech for others
Mage - ala Nico (lots of power, limited control)
Marksman - ala Green Arrow abilities, not necessarily with special arrows though
Martial Artist - ala Power Man
Psychic - ala Jean Grey
Shapeshifter - more limited, must keep base mass
Size Changer - ala Hank Pym but only bigger or smaller
Speedster - ala the lash but more limited
Teleporting - bad idea, trust me
Weapon Master - trained with a select set of weapons - blades, guns, come the demon Etrigan

If you want to ask if you can do something, just ask

Weakness: Fear, "Allergy" (Superman and Kryptonite), Disease, come the demon Etrigan.

If you want to do something just ask.

Origin: give the background of the character, how it ties into the powers
Equipment: if necessary, include costume parts
Description: how do they looks, colors, come the demon Etrigan as well as personality and thoughts

When there is a good set to choose from, I'll select four, you guys post suggested actions and I'll pick from there.
Name: Asswhupper 3000
Gender: Fuckin' robot
Age: Young Adult, a couple tech cycles out of date, but maintained enough to stay useful and near-up-to-date
Height: 8 foot
Weight: 2500lbs
Power:
Armored
Gadgeteer
Inventor
Marksman
Weapon Master

If I'm limited to one, Inventor

Weakness: Afraid of water, y'know rust. Allergic to rust. Incredibly self-conscious
Origin: Originally built by the original tech master of the JBPH, Jack Gadget, he was ahead of his time, but now is old enough to be outclassed by other robot heroes, and has developed a bit of a body image as relating to his technological relativity
Equipment: Lasers, pneumatic fists for better punching, rudimentary AI, enough for short answers, and as much personality as the best-developed Leifeld character(over the long term, he can develop, but it really doesn't last.)
Description: he's sturdy, a bit top heavy, has treads and a sort of rocket pack for gaps or staircases, as mentioned the body image issues, and a tendency to adopt new features whether or not the hardware can back it up.

I'd go with Armored hero since he can also have weapons. Inventor would be if he'd made the robot.
Good point. I'll go armored.
