WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTT?!?!?!

Art and writing were both atrocious.
I dunno, dude. From what I've seen/read, I'm gonna go to bat here and say that Kyle Baker pretty much killed it on
Deadpool MAX. It's totally bonkers cracked-out Saturday morning cartoon stuff. Like a more-refined
Dark Knight Strikes Again, with bold, purposefully ugly cartooning.

Yeah, it's belt-tightening time over at Marvel. Which is fine, since I'm gonna have to free up Pull-List slots for all those rad-looking Image titles launching soon.
Prophet! Glory!

Alright, I can get support that. It just didn't rub right with me, that's all. And maybe "atrocious" was the wrong word. The art was fine, but I didn't care for the writing mainly. I applaud Kyle Baker for always trying out a new art style. Kudos to him. The only one I really hated (and not just from him) is the pseudo 3D CGI model style.
I have no problem with cursing, toilet humor, gay innuendo (Can't have a problem with this anyway), or anything crude. I just thought it was a little over the top, that's all, even for me. But hey, I got nothing against people who like something I don't. That's just being a dick.
And there went Ghost Rider.
Word has it Black Panther is done, too.
Though Aaron's saying Punisher is coming to its natural conclusion and not being cancelled.

Well, fuck. I liked Ghost Rider and loved Black Panther.
Why, Marvel? WHY?!
And Villains for Hire is now 4 issues instead of 5.
All of this...is definitely something.

AHAHAHA OH! *Now* there are no female solo series. Slow clap, Marvel. Slow. Clap.
And there goes Black Panther, ending in February.
I'm most upset about Black Panther, I've wanted to read it for a while and I only just got on board with the .1 and then the Spier-Island one-shot. Now I'm gonna have to read the old issues. Damn.
I can't say I'm broken up about Ghost Rider (never read it) though, I think everyone outside of Marvel knew that lady Ghost Rider was a stupid idea.
I've gotta say; Am I the only one who thinks that some of these characters should be in an old-fashioned anthology book? Like, just get a rotating cast of 9 or so characters and then give three at a time a 12 page story each in "Tales to Astonish" or something. Headline the whole thing with Spidey or someone if they need to drum up sales. At least this way Marvel wouldn't have to keep putting out short-lived series for less popular characters, they could just try them out in the anthology.
