Yeah I am not too big of a fan of the Dan Didio/Geoff Johns obsession with the silver age. I remember reading something about how Didio's goal was to get Barry Allen back and being disappointed that someone in charge is obsessed with going backwards.

I didn't understand that last bit about being dissapointed.
For my part, I can give Didio "a pass" since his last interview with CBR made him look better in my eyes, his head is in the right place, he doesn't bullshit himself about what torrenting really does to comic books, and he makes it clear that he has to answer to a bunch of suits and stockholders that want nothing more than profit, terribly dissapointing, but that's the world we live in and that's the world where artistic integrity and massified industry wrestle with each other on a daily basis.
In that regard, I think he leaves Geoff Johns to his own devices and with the freedom to forcefully penetrate the DC Universe in any ways he sees fit, and if that means bringing back Hal "Carboard Box" Jordan and Barry "Dead & Forgotten" Allen, then so be it, because, wether we like it or not (and I hate Geoff Johns) the guy brings DC tons of money.
Yeah that is what happens when you start a sentence, leave for a while and come back to it. I meant I was disappointed in Didio's attitude about bring back old characters instead of exploring the new ones.

Oh, okay, and yeah it is dissapointing, one would think that the people responsible for the comics would be much more appreciative of the fantastic gift that continuity is, but no, lately they have proven the complete opposite.
But there is fans who want that. I know my cousin loves Hal Jordan, and I have no idea why. Dude is like plain white bread to me.

At least white bread has flavor.
There's all kinds of fans when it comes to comic books, it wouldn't surprise me at all if there was people who loved "One More Day" and considered Joe Quesada to be the savior of Spider-Man.
That doesn't mean they don't deserve to be thrown to the sharks.
Hey guys.
This thread's supposed to be about this guy, remember?

Oh man I love Deadpool!
Seriously though, the last issue of Batman and Robin was megafun.
Haha true.
I am now trying to figure out how to segue this conversation back to Batman... so here is a massive picture.
EDIT: Well while I was posting the pic people got it back on track

Sorry for the double post, but I figure the convo should get back on track.
I loved the art in the last issue. I also really like how each Batman Inc Batman is getting a rogues gallery.
