And once you are invested in a character you want to stick with them and see how they grow, which has been one of the things I really enjoy about Morrison's run. Bruce has realized that he has people who can help him and doesn't have to do everything on his own.
I can dig that--while I love a lot of the members of the Bat-Family, and a lot of his villains, I think Bruce as a character is a very great and complex figure.
Speaking of which--favorite Bat-family members?

It's hard to say. I like all of them a lot in some aspect or another. The only thing I really don't like is Jason Todd being alive. My favorite Robin is probably Tim Drake, and I really liked Cassandra Cain on Batgirl. Barbra is awesome, but she was Oracle in the comics that got me into Batman.
I actually really like the Huntress, and am psyched for her limited series in October.

Dick Grayson as Batman is the only thing that matters. I miss him already.

For those that don't know the origin of this, the captions are the text from the novel Snoopy is writing on top of his dog house in the peanuts strips where he does that.

You guys all read David Brothers' excellent piece over at Comics Alliance where he looks at Miller's Batman work, right?

My biggest problem with Miller is all the stuff he wraps around his good ideas. So ASBAR connects Martha and Robin to aspects of Batman's personality, which is great. And then Black Canary is a bartender who works in full costume and steals money from people.
