Finished watching Green Lantern TAS and...I dunno. I think it has potential, but it's just so damn ugly. I have no problems with CGI, but the show looks like a visual trainwreck. It's just so bad. Sometimes I thought it worked, but then it didn't. I like the way the constructs and beams look (and I like the little glow affect around the Red Lanterns), but beyond that, no thanks.
The character models just like cheap plastic toys and Bruce Timm, God bless him, his art style just doesn't work in 3D, and combine it with cheap CGI, it's not a good combo. I'll keep watching it, but I don't know how long I can go with looking at it.
I do hope we eventually get more of the Emotional Spectrum in the series. Obviously Sinestro will show up eventually, and therefore the Sinestro Corps, most likely.

Just going to leave this here for people who haven't seen it...
I'm so ridiculously excited for the Plastic Man short... but do we really need a Tiny Titans (this is coming from someone who did not enjoy Teen Titans, so maybe you guys'll feel differently) and Lego Batman? Could we maybe get more not-Legostyle Batman instead?

Needs more Aquaman, though.

Since this is aimed at kids, Lego Batman is the perfect way to go, especially since the new DC Legos will be out at the same time. Same thing for Tiny Titans, connecting all this stuff to actual kids books that DC is publishing right now is the perfect way to go to grow the brand.

Hey, I was a kid when B:TAS was on... and I would say something about how normal I grew up to be having lacked something more tame, like Lego Batman and Tiny Titans, but digging up dead people is basically in my job description, so...

Don't get me wrong, I love the comic! I'm just not sure how well something like that can translate to screen, you know? But I was skeptical about Green Lantern, too, and that turned out to be amazing.

So everyone else is as emotionally wrecked as I am after watching that last episode of Batman: The Brave And The Bold, right? Guys?

I am too! that was the most meta episode/show about Batman we're ever gonna get. What a run!
PUNCHEE-CHEE! We hardly knew ye!
