While I've been getting the free offerings off the Marvel app on my iPad, I finally took the plunge and made my first purchases on Comixology:

I really enjoyed the first issue of Chew and the price on the first volume was too good to pass up! This may be dangerous since I'll be able to make purchases at ANY time of day o_o
I've been watching through Extra Credits, the video games discussion, show over on Penny Arcade TV. Shit damn is that a well composed series of videos on a bunch of topics and hot damn do a lot of points that affect every genre show up. It's had me think a lot more on writing and comics than just reading comics news and articles.

Just finished watching the latest episode of Community, that was some awesome stuff. I loved the format episode, the Changlorious Bastards, the suit that weirdly looked like a pillow version of the MK1 Iron Man armor.
I've been reading Mark Millar's Fantastic Four run and his Marvel 1985 miniseries. They're both pretty damn enjoyable and I have to wonder, why can't Millar write like that more often?
I read an adaptation of the A Scanner Darkly movie that was just stills from the movie with text on top. It was bad. Really bad. Is this what Salvador Larocca pages look like before he's completely finished?
I started reading New Brighton Archaeological Society by Mark Andrew Smith (Same guy who writes the amazing Gladstone's School for World Conquerors!) and it is just adorable. The art style is vaguely anime-like and it reminds me a lot of the game Bastion's art. The kids are just so precocious, I just wanna pinch their widdle English cheeks!
