RE: FCBD
I spent all of Friday night and parts of Saturday morning studying so when I finally woke up at 3, all the free comics were gone at my local shop Sad.

RE: FCBD
Here's a link to my blog post with my FCBD haul for this year.

I've only really read the Atomic Robo story, but it was enough to have me giggling more than a few times. Need to sit down and actually read through the stack now.

I know. I saw it when we walked in and was like, "YES, YOU SHALL BE MINE! KNEEL BEFORE ME RICHARDS! KNEEL BEFORE DOOOOOM!!!!" which resulted in everybody staring at me and me being politely asked to leave.

RE: FCBD
Man, I didn't even see that Atomic Robo comic. :\

I missed a bunch of stuff, which stinks, but on the plus side, it's because I was so busy signing and sketching for people.

RE: FCBD
Read the Star Wars/Serenity issue from Dark Horse, both written by Zach Whedon. The Star Wars story was forgettable, but I'm not sure you can do much in that universe anymore. The Serenity one was a lot better, reminding me how much I liked Firefly before the Serenity movie sort of killed my enthusiasm. Fabio Moon artwork didn't hurt.

The Valiant preview was okay, but I kind of feel it would have been better served by tailoring the stories to give you a taste of the series' instead of just a 6-page excerpt or whatever it is. I'm very curious about this reboot, but there wasn't enough there to entice me to drop $4 for a first issue. That said, I'm down for Archer & Armstrong whenever that drops.

Also, the Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens teaser was dooooope. Hate all you want, but I'm super-stoked for that junk. I mean, look at this and tell me you're not remotely interested in that.

Oh, and I also read the Adventure Time issue where BMO wants to lean how to fight, and boy, that comic is the bee's knees.
