A few duds, but even those tried to do something interesting (how many shows would even think about adapting Kurosawa's Stray Dog?). I've seen the 2nd half of s3 and some of early s3. There have been a few episodes (mostly the clone-oriented ones) that have made me tear up. And Asokah is no where near the character that she was in the movie; I not only tolerate her, but I enjoy the character (I think wearing a shirt helped - it's less creepy to watch a tween running around in a tunic than a tube top). Yeah, the movie is pretty not good. But I like the show a lot. Dylan Todd /// Design Portfolio /// Etsy / Tumblr / Twitter |

I've only seen the Genndy Tartakovsky shorts but they were pretty great, even though I'm not big on the EU.

Seriously, I loved that show so much I'm still trying to get all the toys from it. If you see this dude somewhere, you let me know.

RE: Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
I can't get into Clone Wars. I am just not able to give even the smallest shit about the Clone Wars in general. Maybe because I just dislike the PT enough to not care about any of it's EU.

RE: Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
I just saw an ad in a comic about how The Phantom Menace will be back in theaters in 3D this February.
Honesty time here, people: Who's going to go see it? |

I really have no desire to see it or to support Lucas' stuff. I saw the movie three times in theaters as a kid, seen it here and there since but I can't find the appeal to seeing it in 3-D.
Changeling and Socialfist. Check those out. |

Seeing TPM in 3D is like eating a turd wrapped in another turd and also having to wear pinchy turd glasses that make everything look even more turdy. And Agent Orange, I have a huuuge nostalgic blind spot when it comes to anything Star Wars, but I think The Clone Wars cartoon is easily the best thing to come out of the PT. I'd even go so far as to say that it kind of redeems large parts of the PT, for me at least. If you can find the first season at the library or something, I'd recommend checking it out, although maybe I'd also suggest skipping the first disc or so. There's some legitimately fun stuff in there. Dylan Todd /// Design Portfolio /// Etsy / Tumblr / Twitter |

Plus, I've seen TPM a million times as a kid so I'm kind of burnt out on it. I also guarantee Lucas will add/remove stuff from the 3D versions. There's some legitimately fun stuff in there. Hm. I may have to take you up on that, then. I think the only parts I like about the PT (And it's EU) are the clones because some of them have great personalities. I fucking LOVED Republic Commando (The game and the first book, haven't read the others), and I always like seeing some Jedi action. Maybe I will give it a shot. We're on season 4 now, yeah? Or did it finish? I can't help it if I've got a heavy flow and a wide set vagina! I'm now on the Tweety! I'm also tumbling! |

RE: Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
I hate 3D, and I'm probably in the wrong country to even watch it (dunno if it's gonna 3d rerelease over in the UK), but I actually kinda want to.
Like sure, The Phantom Menace is pretty goddamn awful and there's nothing redeemable to be found in the entire film, but then that's one of the great things about a trainwreck; you just have to watch |
