RE: Doctor Who
The endings get me every time...

If I ever meet Steven Moffat, I'm going to shake his hand, get a picture, and then punch him square in the jaw.

Things about the next season that you might already know, or may not wish to know:

RE: Doctor Who
And from what I read there will not be as many two parters and there will be more episodes than a normal season.

Changeling and Socialfist. Check those out.

RE: Doctor Who
Plenty of tears for the Christmas special, but did anyone else watch the "Best of the Christmas Specials" that followed it (at least on BBC America)? That absolutely wrecked me because in very short fashion it made me remember how much I loved David Tennant and then took him away again reminding me how much I didn't want him to go.

RE: Doctor Who
I honestly didn't like the Christmas special as much as I hoped I would. Some of the pacing was weird but this was my first time watching Doctor Who with commercials so that might have been part of it.

I was only able to get through a bit of the Best Of The Christmas Specials because I am sort of a hater of crazy fanbases where they are really vocal about what they like. I can get it but it can ruin the experience for me (same reason I stopped liking Homestuck).

Changeling and Socialfist. Check those out.

We decided to watch The Wedding of River Song again instead, but I watched the Christmas specials on OnDemand and fuck I wish I hadn't.

Now I'm rewatching all the David Tennant episodes. Honestly, I think Russell T Davis is a fairly mediocre writer and much more could've been done with the 10th Doctor (epicness-wise), but David Tennant will always and forever be my doctor.

I agree, it could've been better. Or maybe I've just set my standards very high due to the last two...

I got one of these for my sister and an old copy of Alice in Wonderland that happens to be the shade of blue we all know and love. I am the best big sister ever.

RE: Doctor Who
Just finished watching it. Many manly tears were shed. I don't want to wait for next season. Sad

I can't help it if I've got a heavy flow and a wide set vagina!
I'm now on the Tweety!
I'm also tumbling!

Just an FYI Who fans, tonight on Turner Classic Movies at 1:15 am (EST) they will be playing Daleks' Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D., one of the (non-canon) Who films starring Peter Cushing from the 60's.

RE: Doctor Who
Changing course a litte, I'm getting into Torchwood. Despite the kind of shitty writing and kind of shitty acting, I am enjoying it a bit.

But correct me if I am wrong, but I feel like I'm watching a Doctor Who spinoff that is meant to be super soapy or softcore-ish?

Torchwood feels like what a 13 year-old would come up with if charged to make a Doctor Who spin-off for adults. Still, there are some fantastic episodes in there and Children of Earth is close to perfect.
