Yeah, I'm more sympathetic with the guy here too. I mean, it would be one thing if he was just a straight-up mess who was only interested in Magic: The Gathering: bad hygiene, sloppy mess, can only talk about that. However, she says herself that he looked like a "respectable" dude worthy of dating and was getting to know her properly.
The only problem she had was that Magic the Gathering seemed to cross a line into hardcore nerdery that was too much for her to cross, no matter how put-together he was.
