RE: Toon Talk
I'm slowly working my way through the DC Universe animated movies. I say slowly because getting hold of them in the UK is like finding Jesus in the form of a Blu-Ray disk!
Watched Superman/Batman: Apocalypse the other night. The action was great and the tweaked ending worked (No Source Wall though! WTF!!!). It was just painfully slow until they got to Apokolips. I also saw a random episode of Batman: The Brave and The Bold on TV. I think I might "obtain" it. It seems like a fun show. |

RE: Toon Talk
Superman/Buttman: Apocalypse was the only one of the DC Universe movies I haven't liked.
Brave and the Bold is definitely worth obtaining. It is pretty much the most fun. |

Holy shit, man! Also, I'm not a big Thundercats fan in general, should I try the new show regardless? |

RE: Toon Talk
I'd definitely try it. The only thing the new one and the '80s one have in common are the characters and some of the world building. The new one has a plot, great voice acting and animation and a lot more characterization. It's basically a completely different show. And best of all, Snarf doesn't talk! (Don't get me wrong, nothing will ever beat the '80s version.)
But it makes me nostalgic at the same time--Will Friedle (Terry McGinnis from Batman Beyond) is Lion-O, Clancy Brown (Lex Luthor) as Grune and I'm pretty sure that was Cree Summer (also Batman Beyond) in the latest episode. Sigh, I miss Batman Beyond... |

This would probably be the easiest way: http://amzn.to/nvJZkx Unless you're talking about something.. ahem.. even cheaper. ![]() Speaking of cheap, if any of you haven't seen it already (or if you saw it back when it was on but never bought the DVDs), you can get the ENTIRE 1st season of Legion of Super Heroes from Amazon Instant Video for only $6.49! That is a truly fantastic deal for how great this under appreciated show was. Get it! Watch it! I can't imagine you'll be disappointed. |
