I am not currently enjoying this, although I wish I were, and I didn't know where else to put it, but do you guys remember the Alan Moore penned 1963 comics that were Marvel ripoffs that Moore and a handful of artists made into a 6 issue mini series (the climax of which was supposed to be an 80 Page Giant drawn by Jim Lee that never came into fruition)?

I absolutely adore these comics, everything from story/art to the fake adverts that Moore made up to keep with the 60's vibe to the pin-up galleries at the end. They're fun and seem lighthearted, yet have wonderful undercurrents of paranoia and impending doom.

My favourite was the Sipderman/Daredevil mix:

I remember for one of my birthdays my Mom had a custom Fury shirt made for me.

Also 'When Wakes The Warbeast!' is easily one of my top ten all-time favourite comic titles. Easy.

just enjoyed: Daredevil #3, about to enjoy: Frankenstein#1, Sergio Aragones Funnies #2&3, Manhunter(Goodwin/Simonson) I woulda got Demon Knights as well, but they were out. I am now officially marked out for OMAC.

I have something of a bad habit in buying games and playing them minimally before getting my attention taken from some other game. Lately, I've been trying to change that buy playing games I neglected and haven't played in a few years. So my current obsession is Exit on the Xbox Live Arcade , a game in which you're a escapologist (named Mr. ESC) trying to help get people out of buildings that have been damaged in various fashions (fires, earthquakes, come the demon Etrigan.) It's about as fun as it is frustrating but definitely still worth checking out.

Just read Superman: Birthright by Waid & Yu for the first time (Which I loved. Seriously DC, not letting Mark Waid near Superman on a regular basis is the height of stupidity.), and am re-reading Alan Moore's run on Supreme, aka, "My favorite Superman story."
