RE: Recommend Me...
Ever since the late Seventies, Daredevil's life has been hell. Every woman he's loved has been taken away from him by death or insanity, his identity has been exposed a near-ludicrous amount of times, and also, he's blind. That's also kind of a bummer for him. Mark Waid decided to turn that around. He can't not help, so he's decided to just have fun with it, and the result is the funnest comic on stands, with amazing artwork by Marcos Martin and Paolo Rivera, and also it pits Daredevil, who sees using sonar, against Klaw, who is solid sound. And if that doesn't spell awesome to you, then brother, you need a serious attitude adjustment. Also, I'll just take a moment here to recommend nearly everything Mark Waid has written. Good shit.

I'd agree with that I've enjoyed more Mark Waid comics than Alan Moore of Grant Morrison's stuff. I think he's really under rated as a writer.

Gotta say I really didnt like his FF run very much. Is that not indicative of his normal mainstream superhero quality? really all ive read by him otherwise is kingdom come and irredeemable

open the book and look. just look at it. go on, take a gooooood look.

also the story. it's basically how 'the heroic age' things from last year should have been done. it's good, strong, upbeat superhero stuff.

Wait, what? Is this a prank or something?

That was about my reaction as well, I just had no idea how to tactfully put it into words.

Okay, I've got to be completely honest here. I haven't read much Mark Waid at all, and I hate that about myself. I'm trying to think of what I've read outside of Daredevil and a few of his ASM issues and I'm coming up blank. His Fantastic Four run is very high on my to-read list, but what else should I read? I've heard good things about his Cap?
