So forum game time -
Starting with the next letter of the alphabet you create the name/brief description of a superhero. The next person then uses the next letter in the alphabet to create a new one.

For example.
Guy 1: Affableman, the most suave and charming hero, like Eros but less rapey
Guy 2: Brow Breaker, barbarian style hero who punches people in the face
...
Guy 26: Zatarans, master of rice and jazz
Guy 27: Afroscout, has a swiss army fro.

No using established characters (on purpose).

For a challenge I'll start with G.
Grapeshot, purple alien warlord who shoots pebbles at his enemies - but he is also a giant so they are boulders.

The gravity within the objects effected by his gaze is altered, and this can have a deadly effect on living beings.

Edit: So wait, do these have to be heroic, or can they also be villains, as Grapeshot seems to be?
