WiIl probably end up going back for Ult X-Men though, I don't know. I can justify the $3.99 on Ult Spidey and Ultimates, but not Ult X-Men. We'll see. …

I'm not convinced that Nick Spencer's a creator who deserves my money.

See, I really enjoyed the first arcs of Morning Glories and T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, and really, really enjoyed the Jimmy Olsen back ups/one shot, but after that he burnt out real hard, real quick. The only title I'm still interested in is Ult X-Men but only because I'm super attached to the Peter Parker Ultimate Spider-Man and that book has a huge chunk of his supporting cast in it.

RE: The Pull List!
This week's pull-list, no idea if I'll be able to make it to the shop (comination of no time and post-vacation poverty), but I will have a box coming with some Marvel Treasury Editions I ordered after watching last week's Parks & Rec and having a temporary bout of Treat Yo Self-itis.

Dark Horse Presents #5
Dungeons & Dragons #12
Fear Itself #7 (of 7)
Hulk #43
Ultimate Comics: Hawkeye #3 (of 4)
Vengeance #4 (of 6)

How's Vengeance been? I was excited about it but pretty disappointed with the #1, although Dragotta's art was fantastic. Did bother following it, did it pick up?

RE: The Pull List!
Okay, just got back from the store, picked up:

Batman #2
DC Presents: Superman: Secret Identity #1
Fear Itself #7
John Carter: A Princess of Mars #2
Star Trek/Legion of Superheroes #1
Ultimate Comics Hawkeye #3
Wonder Woman #2

Have only read Fear Itself at this point and it was exactly like every other installment: An incredibly average script with absolutely fantastic visuals by Mr Stuart Immonen. That man could draw anything and make it look good. That man could draw a Matt Fraction Marvel script in 2011 and make it look good. So yeah, as long as I wasn't paying too much attention to the story, I really enjoyed it.

And with that, I am done with Matt Fraction. Unless Stuart Immonen draws another book by him.

Also, more excited to read Star Trek/Legion than anything else, and I'm only a casual fan of either franchise. I hope it's awesome.

I've really enjoyed it, but I like Casey. It's a little bit like his Seven Soldiers, with weird legacy characters, forgotten characters and new characters fighting this war in the shadows of the Marvel U. I think I enjoyed this last issue of it more than all of Fear Itself combined.

This Week's Pull-List

Not much to say, with the news of Secret Avengers new creative team, it earns itself a promotion to the pull-list. Superman has one issue to get better before it gets taken off (till Jurgens & Giffen take over and it gets a one issue try-out). Spaceman I had planned to wait for trade on, but it's a dollar, so it gets a grab. Plus a giant-size Kirby sampler? Who can say no?

As for Daredevil, it's still one of the best books on the shelves, along with the (not pictured) Sixth Gun.
