"Um, actually" in 3 … 2 … 1 … Pretty sure that's Savage Opress you're referring to. He's Filoni's excuse to have a guy who is basically Darth Maul while still having the series not contradict existing canon and have a character who is more than just a bulldog with a double-saber. He was introduced in last season's "Nightsisters" arc and is actually a pretty dope dude.

Oh man. What have I done with my life?

No, it's the legit Maul they're bringin, and they'll continue to have that Savage Love guy, or whatever. Lucas wouldn't let em at first, but apparently he changed his mind.

I wonder if anyone's made a smilie for the dismissive wank motion, because it would be perfect here.

Yep. More on that here.

At least Boba Fett escaping the sarlacc can make sense, but Darth Maul? Dude was cute in half.

BRB, I am so, so sorry to be the bearer of bad news. D:

Oh. Man. I wish I could say that this news disappoints me, but the poor, battered Star Wars fan inside of me is kind of excited for this.

Also, I would like to take this moment to formally retract my earlier "Um Actually." Please forgive my internet know-it-all-ness.

Hey, we've all been there, man.

I... I think I liked the Green Lantern premiere....
More because it was kick-ass than because of Jordan himself, mind you. And the animation was still a little off to me, and Jordan's voice actor a little flat, but I can definitely see myself enjoying this series.

And I have five bucks that says Razer will pull the stereotypical anti-hero move and either become a GL or die before getting a ring, though. (My favorite characters in series like this tend to be the antihero. This happen to anyone else?)

RE: Toon Talk
Completely impressed with every aspect of the Green Lantern premiere. I could go on at length, but I'll save it for later.

I will say though, that there was one point where I got actual goosebumps when I realized that there now exists the possibility that we'll get a new Superman cartoon in this fashion in a few years.

RE: Toon Talk
I thought the Green Lantern premiere was damn good. And it also had Kurtwood Smith! What human couldn't like it? And how about Young Justice as well with a nice dose of Jack Kirby goodness?

RE: Toon Talk
I'm not sure if I enjoyed Green Lantern. I think I did. The writing was pretty great (I got a laugh at Kilowog's "I make hammers" line) but the animation was sorta stiff in places and it was like I was watching an hour-long version of the Justice League opening.

RE: Toon Talk
If true, that's really depressing.

While I loved Sym-Bionic Titan, I think the robot fights were kind of boring. Everything else was top-notch, but I was bored with the robots, simple as that.

I'm also tumbling!
