I dunno I thought it was kind of fun to see Harm and Secret in the show even it did shorten a subplot told over 25 issues or so into one episode haha

Was even kind of hoping Greta might stick around.

RE: Toon Talk
Wait, Harm was an actual existing character, not just an anime stereotype created for the show? Seriously?

RE: Toon Talk
Yeah Harm and the Secret were created by Peter David and their story ran through the first 24 issues or so of the original Young Justice run. David always had a high dose of humour in the book so Harm did start out as a lame villain but he became more menacing as time went on.

He is to start with but not as much later on. There was more depth to him in the comic but he had a lot longer to develop.

RE: Toon Talk
Did it still have that terrible ending with the neon "secret" sign? Because that was the fart cherry on that particular poopcake, just made it feel like a terrible, generic ghost story(also why the hell would you have your Halloween episode in the middle of November?)

I think they were implying that Harm had shoved Greta's head through the hole in that fence (forcing her to look at the shop's sign) and knifed her there, which does up the creepy, but this being Cartoon Network, there was only so much that could be implied and the ending kinda fell flat.

Yeah in the comic she was called 'the Secret' because she was being held in a Cadmus lab (I think it was Cadmus anyway) and she was freed by Robin, Superboy and Impulse. She had more than just 'ghost powers' too as she could transport people and she was able to talk properly she didn't just say 'secret' all the time. I was actually disappointed with how she was portrayed in the cartoon. So yeah there was no corny neon in the comic.

Yeah. That story wouldn't have passed muster at the Midnight Society.

RE: Toon Talk
How about that Adventure Time Christmas special folks? It was a great half-hour of television.
