XOMBI TPB

Wasn't going to snag Winter Soldier, but I saw it was $2.99 and that got me. If it was $3.99 I would've waited till trade. Animal Man has been kicked to the digital time-shift list. Will buy it a month behind and save the $1. Once again, that Xombi book is really good. Cannot recommend it enough.

This week is normally just OMAC for me, but man, I'd be a fool to pass up that Xombi trade after how unlikely it was for it to be collected

I'll be honest, I can't really describe anything that happens between the covers of Justice League as being "good", but I certainly enjoy it every month and will continue to plunk my $4 (well, $3.60) on the barrel head every few weeks, at least until after the Gene Ha issue and then I'm gone. The book is lunkheaded and stupid, much like Lee & Miller's All-Star Batman, but isn't mean-spirited like that book was and is a fun time.
