Ann Nocenti is a damn good writer. Gonna check that out when it hits $1.99 next month.

I was waiting for somebody to say that before I checked it out. I'll probably do the same as Jason.

RE: The Pull List!
I think I'm on Green Arrow for the duration on the strength of the first issue of Nocenti's run, though am I the only one who felt the first few pages kinda fiddled about with dialogue, like Nocenti was trying to find Queen's voice as she set the scene?

Might just be me.

Anyway, that was an unexpected highlight, that'll keep me going until the next amazing thing (GLORY NEXT WEEK!... i think)

I'd recommend looking at the preview beforehand, if you haven't already. The artist's style isn't really my thing, but Nocenti's writing is strong enough that I'm not too bothered by it. Your mileage may vary there.

Nope, I totally agree with you. I liked the monologue and that she didn't do any first person narration, but "high tech litter police" was a stinker.

RE: The Pull List!
Here we go:

ACTIVITY #3*
BATWOMAN #7
DEMON KNIGHTS #6*
FRANKENSTEIN AGENT OF SHADE #7
GLORY #24
LOBSTER JOHNSON THE BURNING HAND #2*
STAR WARS AGENT OF THE EMPIRE #3*
THE SHADE #6

X-MEN SEASON ONE OGN

*comics I'm buying one month behind digitally

Big week mitigated by half of the comics being $1 off digitally. It's the little things that make me happy.

Excited to dig into the X-Men Season One book, all the previews of McKelvie's art look stellar and Amazon claims it's sitting on my doorstep right now.

I totally want that Daredevil poster, because it is Rivera, and Rivera is the greatest.

RE: The Pull List!
Glory 24
Lobster Johnson: The Burning Hand 3
Saga 1
The Shade 6

I might miss Saga since I have work Wednesday, but ever since Runaways I'll read anything Brian Vaughan does. But Lobster Johnson will probably be my favorite this week. It's so good.

RE: The Pull List!
Oh man, it's Saga this week?! Suddenly my list has grown by one

Glory 24
The Shade 6
Batwoman 7
Demon Knights 7
Frankenstein 7
Superboy 7
Saga 1

I think this month's round of DC issues is going to have to lead to me dropping some series, simply because i gotta start saving money.
