If you don't already have this in over-sized format from when it came out back in the 90s you need to get it. Mark Waid and Bryan Hitch on the Morrison JLA. It's pretty epic.


Ignore this cover, because what you need to know is Nick Bradshaw is doing the art on the inside. If you don't know who he is yet, I think you will soon.


If you're not buying this, I don't know why you're bothering to read comics. CHRIS. SAMNEE.

These Retroactive books have been hit or miss for me, but I maintain my faith in them, and I can't pass up new Jon Bogdanove Superman anymore than I can pass up new Norm Breyfogle Batman.


Obviously this book doesn't need my help, but Hickman's Ultimate Thor mini-series was fantastic, so I've really been looking forward to his Ultimate takeover. Plus, Uzumeri just did a review of it over at CA and said it was great, so.. yeah.

Oh yeah, he's a pitch-perfect Art Adams clone. And that is a good thing.

I'm waffling between picking up Ultimates monthly or in trades. Cuz I kinda really want to read it, but I don't wanna add any more to my pull-list.

Mystery Men is a series about pulp characters in the Marvel universe with no connections to the Marvel Universe. It has been a solidly fun series so far though at this point I might wait for the trade.
