I have to cut down on comics because I need to pay for college right when then new 52 is starting. :/ I think I might cut stuff to the Ultimate Universe, Herc, Spider-man and then whatever New DC stuff I get.

No, like that is my reading list. I love Herc to much to cut it. The problem is I like reading so much stuff. I gotta get a job that pays well though.

It was a little confusing, both art and story. But I was overall satisfied

This is the jam. 100x better than Captain America. Samnee's art is better and Brubaker is telling a far more interesting story.

Ultimate Comics Ultimates Ultimatum Ultron Ultimates #1
Art is good, and the writing is good but I was completely lost as to what was going on in this issue, and that's... to put it politely, baloney. Yes I know that these people are going over "here" to do some "thing". But I don't have any idea what the reason is for those things. If an issue has #1 on it, there should be at least some explanation. It's a little annoying that I'm gonna have to pick up #2 hoping to get some more explanation, and not just further plot development. So I'm sure someone's going to point out to me that it's my fault for not reading all of Ultimate Fallout or The Death of Spider-man or whatever other comic I should have read just to read a new series. This is just my opinion, your mileage may vary.

Actually they really didn't lead up to this stuff in Fallout or Death so we are all sort of in the dark so far.

Maybe that uncertainty is an intended part of the story.

I haven't read it yet, so I can't say, but I loved Hickman's Ultimate Thor mini-series which is supposed to have set a lot of his Ultimates stuff up, so maybe I'll know exactly what's up.

Did anyone else read that Ultimate Thor mini?

Ultimate Thor was mega fun and was more of a companion to the earlier Ultimates but there were one or two tie ins.

The first three issues of Ultimate Thor were fantastic, the Loki/Baron Zemo bit was incredible! But the last issue had way too much tying up loose ends for me to really love it, even though it was still great.

All in all it was a great issue. Didn't blow my mind but I'm ready to love the Ultimate Universe again, instead of just USM.

If you had told me five years ago that I'd be considering picking up multiple X-books and Ultimate titles in 2011, I would have said, "Who are you and why are you saying these weird things to me?"
