I was so close to picking it up today, but I just have so many unread single issues and trades at home that I couldn't justify getting it. I know I'll regret that decision, but I only just got around to reading hte last DC Presents I picked up, Gotham Noir.

RE: The Pull List!
Frankenstein 2 & 3 - I don't see why people say this is so great, I was bored, and also the art sadly took a nose dive in no2 and barely came back up in no 3.

Captain America 2 - This was better than 1 but I still feel a little lost and don't really care about what's going on. This is still nowhere near as good as Cap'n'Bucky. Not feeling the McNiven art here.

Daredevil 2 - Even though I couldn't find a copy of 1 (My LCS is gonna be the death of me) this was a FANTASTIC read. Great fluid writing, and great art by Paolo Riveria.

Hulk - 35, 38, & 39 - I had stopped collecting Hulk after 34, but after telling my friend what was going on in the book, I realized how cool it really was.
, So I finished the Planet Hulk with 35 (storyline wrapped a little too quick but still good), and I'll probably just DL 36/37 to catch up so I can read the other two issues. I really hate that I have to do this, but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess.

Xombi 5 - Somehow missed 4! So again, DL 4, finish 5. Very excited about this one, feel super dumb about missing 4!

Baltimore - Curse Bells. Read 2 sentences and realized that this wasn't Plague Ships (or whatever it's called) gonna put that on the backburner until I can pick up a trade of the first series.

MISC
Got the We3, Incal, and Marvels HC coming at me from thwipster (that site is gonna murder my wallet why did I have to find it) so super excited about those.

Really wanted to pick up Detective Comics this week but everyone told me to shutup and wait for the trade. Which seeing as I probably couldn't have found the back issues anyways...

If you haven't gotten the Thor: Artist's Edition yet, go do that. In fact, I would recommend buying two copies, one for reading, and one for rubbing all over your body when you think you're alone.

RE: The Pull List!
I ended up getting DD #2, X-Men Schism #3, Avengers #16 and DC Retroactive: Batman: The '90s.

Of these I have only had time to read the Batman issue, and my complaint about it is the same as all the other Retroactive titles: Something feels "off." Maybe it's an expectation that the comic would read to me like it would have when I was a 14-year-old, and it didn't, or maybe it's because the creative teams are rusty, but ... I dunno. I do like that Grant tied the new story back to his old story that was also reprinted this issue, and it was great to see Breyfogle on anything non-Archie (though his Archie stuff is super), but his Batman was missing the visceral menace he had back in the '90s.

And I only bought Avengers because I forgot it was in my pull list still, but Romita Jr.'s back, so there's that.

RE: The Pull List!
This week's Avengers disappointed me. The inker on the Romita Jr art just messed it up for me.

I'm seriously this close to dropping Avengers. It's easily the worst title out in the line. I opened it up and saw the first page was more talking heads and promptly put it back on the shelf.
