I'm liking-not-loving Mud Man, but I'm enough of a fan of Grist's to stick around as long as this thing keeps coming out.

I ended up accidentally purchasing Uncanny (I was in a hurry!) but have to agree, that was a very good issue. I just really wish Land wasn't drawing the next arc. Because I can't give that man my money.

And speaking of art that drives me bonkers, Andy Kubert on Action was … not good. I keep wondering how much more enjoyable this title would be if the art was better. Because writing-wise, it seems like somebody's doing an impression of Grant Morrison on quaaludes and the lack of a decent artist doesn't help to sell what has been good-but-not-great stuff.

But yeah, the big, sweeping space opera tone of the last issue was a nice break from the first few issues.
