I'm behind the trend on this but I caved and read the first Marvel book in an age and it was Captain Marvel #1 by Kelly Sue and Dex Soy and holy shit is that the perfect first issue of a superhero comic.

So now if Gambit is that good I guess I'll have one toe in Marvel's corner. One.

As for this week I have no idea what's coming out. Prophet came out, I think. I fucking love Prophet.

Oh and that national comics debut, though I've kinda wore myself out on Lemire's DC work.

For real, if you have any interest in Godzilla at all, pick up Godzilla: The Half-Century War #1 today. It's so very good.

I started reading these Ame-Comi things. I thought they were just going to be pure cheesecake, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I've only gone through Wonder Woman so far, though.
