I am really interested in picking up Thor God of Thunder by back tracking and catching up, however, $3.99 at 2x a month is a real issue for me and I'm already thinking of doing the unthinkable and dropping Iron Man (unthinkable insofar as I would buy pretty much anything Gillen writes but this Land art is increasingly irritating and I haven't really gotten into the flow of the comic. I don't know how much I want to see Tony in Spaaaaaaaaaaaace [unless its with Pigs in Spaaaaaaaaace]). Therefore I ask you, oh learned Friends, Again, to persuade me to pick them up, wait on the trade, or skip entirely? I am not a HUGE Thor fan, but I am interested, especially since my girlfren loves Thor and perhaps she'll read as well. Thor, God of Thunder is AMAZING. I don't think it's a story that'll hurt to wait for, aside from, y'know, the waiting; but it's been pretty magical seeing it unfold. This is EASILY the best it's been since Simonson. |

I'm not a Thor guy, and certainly not an Aaron guy (he's good, but he doesn't always work for me outside of Wolverine & The X-Men), and I'm loving God of Thunder, more for Ribic's ridiculously good-looking art than anything. In fact, with that in mind, trade. I reckon it'd look great in a nice shiny hardcover. |

RE: The Pull List!
Yes. To all of you who, both here and on Tweeter, have recommended me to Thor, I have read the first issue, and foam at the mouth for the second. The way the story unfolds, if it can be maintained beyond the first issue, is masterful storytelling. My thanks, friends. (Side note. This is one of the reasons I love this forum, so thanks to everyone and let's keep this damn thing afloat, shall we?)
