RE: PAX
So here are the games I played:

Gotham City Impostors: HOLY MOTHER OF AWESOME, I EFFIN' LOVE THAT GAME. 6v6 team based very fast combat with really cool gadgets to get around, this game was the best.

Chainsaw Lolipop: This was a fun little God o War type action game. Suda 51 doing it so that's cool.

Fez: Love this game. I just want it.

Orcs Must Die: This is too Tower Defense games as Monday Night Combat is to dota clones. I dug the hell out of it.

Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom: Rounds seems quicker and the new characters are all beefy. Ghost Rider is a beast.

Street Fighter x Tekken: I got my ass whooped everytime I played it, so I can't really tell you about it.

Dead Island: This was just a five minute demo, but it was a really fun one. Think of Left 4 Dead but with a melee focus and way scarier.

So those are the games I currently remember playing, I'll post more as I remember them, also feel free to ask about the games, I'll gladly talk more in depth about the,

I'm guessing there was no Phoenix Wright love in the UMvC3 demo was there? Sad

I can't help it if I've got a heavy flow and a wide set vagina!
I'm now on the Tweety!

RE: PAX
HI I FEEL THE NEED TO CHIME IN BECAUSE WE WERE TOTALLY AT THE SAME CONVENTION AND COMMON DENOMINATORS ARE THE BREAD AND BUTTER OF SOCIETY.

Sorry. I got home at 5 AM this morning, and I've just hit the "total asshole" stage of sleep-deprivation.

ETA: Holy hell, how awesome was Jamestown: Legend of the Lost Colony? SO AWESOME.

At this point, I've honed my PAX (and surrounding days) priorities to roughly the following:
-Check out the PAX 10 (I figure, most of the big stuff will be reported exhaaaaustively the next week, so if I've got limited time / access, I'll spend it on indie games I might not otherwise discover or get much contact with. And the PAX 10 are ALWAYS fantastic. Bastion, anybody?)
-See the Protomen play as many times as humanly possible (four this year, not counting Jamspace Q&A or whiskey-fueled "Hey Jude" singalongs).
-See as much nerdcore as I can without interfering with the preceding (Fuck, yeah, Jamspace!)
-Work meetings / friendly hangouts.
-Small handful of panels. Best I saw this year was the "It's All About All of Us" panel, which was fuckin' awesome. I really wish I'd been able to get to the nerdcore and queer panels, but stuff came up.
-Everything else.

Next year, I'm gonna throw in "staying up all night playing Hero Quest," because, fuck, man, Hero Quest.

What it comes down to is that I hate standing in line for hours when I'm surrounded by cool shit to do. I'll do it occasionally, but this year, none of the big stuff tripped my fancy enough to justify it.
