RE: Netflix - What to watch
I recently watched The Man From Nowhere, which was a pretty good Korean action flick.

Also, Louie season 1 is required viewing.

Check out my podcast, Bat Issues. It's like Tom vs, but about Batman.

Adding my support for Sherlock!
The Man From Earth is a strange little flick, but I enjoyed it a lot. Definitely keep your mind open. Uhh I'm terrible at summarizing movies, and I don't want to spoil anything, sooo this is what imdb has to say about it: "The movie begins with Professor John Oldman packing his belongings onto his truck, preparing to move to a new home."

...Er, never mind. Just watch it.

RE: Netflix - What to watch
I mainly use mine for TV. But lots of good ones already listed, but Sherlock, Doctor Who, Mad Men, Parks & Rec, Rocko, Ren & Stimpy, Mad Men, and Arrested are all great, as are the current crop of NBC comedies (Office, Parks, Communoty, 30 Rock)

Others worth watching:
Party Down
Archer
Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes
X-Men The Animated Series
Spider-Man (90s series)
Star Trek(TNG and Voyager)
Weeds

Movie-wise: Monsters, Mystery Team, John Carpenter's The Thing, Ronin, Trainspotting, Exit Through the Gift Shop, and MORTAL KOMBAT are all good. There's also an interesting looking Michael Caine movie from the 70s called Pulp, where he plays a pulp writer who's hired to write the biography of a mob boss that seems like it could be really fun, although I haven't had a chance to sit down with it yet.
