It's weird. As popular as nerdy things are in other media (like superhero movies) there is still this weird stigma that comes from being into different versions of the same stuff.

I also find that there are a lot of stereotypes about the kinds of stuff nerds like. Just because I read comics and play D&D people are surprised to find out that I love Hockey.
