I signed up for this forum to tell Chris Haley how much I love him for this thread. And to defend the awesomeness that is Candy Corn. I capitalize it because it deserves the respect.

But chocolate is bigger than one holiday, you can get it for almost any celebration. Whereas candy corn is specifically tied to Halloween.

Last night, I was up 'til about 2 AM cutting out fluorescent green lab coat pieces. I hate EVERYTHING.

Chocolate is always good, so chocolate is my choice of favorite candy at Halloween. But if I had to associate one with Halloween, it would probably be Snickers (or Butterfingers, 'cause I used to love those things).

Candy corn just tastes like flavored wax to me. How you guys taste something delicious... I just don't know.

Also I still have no idea what to be for Halloween... so many options, so little time and money. (And I am not creative at all when it comes to costumes; my friend's a genius, though, and she's going as Virginia Woolf this year, and several years ago she was Sylvia Plath in an oven (anthropologists are dark)).

Though... I bet I could thrift-shop my way into a Lady Blackhawk costume...
