Animal Man
Batman
The Flash
Action Comics
Swamp Thing
Wonder Woman
OMAC
Stormwatch
Superman
Frankenstein: Agent of SHADE
Batgirl
Justice League
Teen Titans

What the hell did Frankenstein do to earn such a low ranking? Also, why did you decide to buy Teen Titans?

I may not like Barry Allen, but I have to admit that Flash #1 was really good. And the art was gorgeous.

I can't help it if I've got a heavy flow and a wide set vagina!
I'm now on the Tweety!
I'm also tumbling!

I think Chris Sims said it best when he said that the Barry of this book is a better character for so longer being defined by his death.

Same here. I was worried that the story might stumble with Francis Manapul taking over writing duties (he's a first-timer, right?), but it's remained pretty good, and allowed him to create some killer page layouts, as writer-artists often do.

I enjoyed Frankestein a lot, but it was a quick read that was fairly forgettable. I'd be hard pushed to tell you what happened without glancing at the comic.

I didn't buy Teen Titans either, my LCS has a deal where if you buy five DCnU books, you get the sixth one free, so I used that for TT because the original YJ line-up of Tim, Bart, Kon-El and Cassie are some of my favourite DC characters and I just had to see what Lobdell had done to them.

Heck Yeah! Superman!

How accessible is batwoman #1 for somebody whos only exposure to the character is from her appearances in Batman & Robin?

It's really accessible, there's even a beautiful two-page spread in the middle that covers everything you've missed in a way that isn't too much of an info-dump.

I strongly recommend Batwoman: Elegy though, one of my favourite superhero comics in recent memory.
