That would be the greatest book ever. So many bros in one book though, I'm not sure the universe could handle it.

Jaime Reyes is the new blue beetle isn't he? I'm pretty sure that's what all the solicits said.

Check out my podcast, Bat Issues. It's like Tom vs, but about Batman.

Mr. Kord has been filtered to say Jaime Reyes

I'm so ready for Action and Animal Man but we've got a one day delay here in Australia because of your Labor Day(?) and it's killing me.

RE: Official DCnU Discussion Thread
Today I bought Action Comics, Stormwatch, Animal Man and Swamp Thing. My LCS has a deal that if you buy five DC comics in Sept, you get a free one, and because I bought Justice League last week, I was entitled to a free comic. I grabbed Batgirl on my friend who work's there's recommendation and it, like the four comics I got this week, was awesome. As far as I'm concerned, DC is hitting it out of the park so far.

RE: Official DCnU Discussion Thread
I enjoyed all the New 52 books I got this week; Action Comics, Detective Comics, Batgirl, Animal Man, Swamp Thing, Justice League International and Stormwatch.

The weakest out of the bunch was Justice League International. While the strongest, just pipping Action Comics at the post, was Detective Comics. MAN WAS THAT A GOOD COMIC! It is a great sort of done in one story that sets up the new status quo, re-introduces characters and sets up a continuing arc. All beautifully presented and wonderfully written!

I also went on the hunt for Meta-Woman appearances and eventually found them all. I've put them in spoilers for ya!

She seems to have an obsession with the bottom area of male superheroes!

RE: Official DCnU Discussion Thread
Quick rundown on what i was able to snag today, will probably go back for more on Friday when I get paid. Part of me is tempted to give all 52 number ones a shot.

Batgirl - Was okay. Wish it had been a bit more light hearted. Wanted Deadpool Simone and got Secret Six Simone.

Detective- Oh man, was this awful. Just freaking terrible. The attempt at aping Miller just left me feeling embarrassed as i read it.

JLI - I liked this A LOT more than the regular JL. I like the line up a lot.

Stormwatch - Was what you'd expect; a slightly toned down version of the Authority shoehorned into the DCU. It works well enough, i'll give it the first arc.

Action #1 - Does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. Golden age Supes in a modern setting.

RE: Official DCnU Discussion Thread
I don't like when Meta-Woman is too obvious, it brought me out of a few of the comics I read, whereas the Batgirl one was really subtle and I had to look online to eventually find it.

RE: Official DCnU Discussion Thread
Of the New 52 I've read so far, Swamp Thing has been the one I enjoyed the most. It really made me wish Paquette was drawing Action instead though.
