MODOK's 100

MODOK's 100
I am a pretty big Fred Van Lente fan and one of my favorite pieces he did was MODOK's 11 which if you aren't familiar, is like Ocean's 11 but with supervillains. The plan was this awesome character piece for everyone involved and was full of action and suspense but considering normal MODOK has sort of been unarmed and his son has been taking over with a desire for the bigger, what would you say to MODOK's 100 - an event comic focused around essentially Knightfalling the whole of the Marvel Universe to commit the biggest heist by first distracting the Marvel heroes universe while dealing with the unexpected (i.e. planning for the uninvited heroes come the demon Etrigan) and ultimately letting the heist go through (for whatever the object is).
It's less like Fear Itself as well. Nobody is more powered than normal. This is just a wave of villainy.

So who would you want to see involved in the series as villains, what series would you like to see as a crossover and what would you see and the ultimate goal for the giant attack? (also name writers and artists for series if you want).

Changeling and Socialfist. Check those out.

RE: MODOK's 100
I'd love to see a mini where someone like Paste-pot Pete tries to get in on the action, but just keeps getting shut out. Or a Deadpool tie-in where he tries to join either side, but neither will have him. He's too amoral for the heroes, but the villains still remember the times he tried to actually be good, so he just keeps trying to play both sides against each other.

RE: MODOK's 100
I'd want each title to keep the theme behind Modok's 11: based on a pre-existing crime movie.

Constrictor & Taskmaster aren't on board with MODOK. They figure it'll just be a matter of live and let live, but they keep taking jobs that just so happen to run counter to MODOK's plans. MODOK, through a series of proxies, assembles a team of heroes to bring these outlaws to justice. Now you have Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid.

RE: MODOK's 100
Well, If we're going like that:
The Unlovables: The aforementioned Paste-Pot Pete idea, but with a group of similarly useless heroes with him.
The Unmentionables: A secret team of villains set to do a more minor heist across town ,both to divide the heroes' manpower if they accidentally find out, and to provide a guaranteed profit, if the heroes don't pick up on it.
A Fistful of Nothing: The Deadpool idea already mentioned

RE: MODOK's 100
For the whole movie idea I like combining the more obscure heist movie genres
Inception (but involving AIM trying to steal from Hank Pym, Dr Strange and Doc Sampson sort of tripping out with gamma radiation and magic infecting Hank Pym's mind transforming him while messing with his mind at the same time so Strange and Sampson are sent in).
The Great Train Robbery (where a group of technological supervillains steal all of the trains in China (which still uses them. A group of the heavy hitters like the Hulk or the Destroy team)
Bottle Rocket (more of an teen superhero group like Avengers Academy on a group getting manipulated by a new member who has been around long enough to actually have trust betraying the team who turns the team onto trying to hold a heist only for the team to fall apart)
Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (giant confusing but actiony heist series set in the city, more human powerless characters)
No idea for titles though.

Changeling and Socialfist. Check those out.

Rocknrolla: Hypno-Hustler. Just straight-up Hypno-Hustlin'.
Your Great Train Robbery idea: The Greatest Train Robbery
Reservoir Dogs: The Mole Man's efforts in the megaheist.
Pulp Fiction: I don't even know what this one would be, but it'd need to be done on principle.

RE: MODOK's 100
I think Bandits could work. Two super-villains get mixed up with a super-heroine (who along the way switches sides) and commit bank robberies across the country.

Natural Born Killers: There's definitely an angle to take here.
Pulp Fiction: Old Timely Comics villains participating in the megaheist
Death Wish: You need the Punisher to get up in this, and this is the best fit I can think of.
