For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about...

I'm really conflicted about this. On the one, I enjoy his comedy; but on the other, I can't really see his stand-up skills translating well into comics writing.

Posehn's written for a lot of TV shows, some of them funny (Metalocalypse, Space Ghost, Human Giant, Mr. Show), others of them … not so much (Nick Swardson's Pretend Time, The Man Show, Anger Management). I mean, I probably won't go out of my way to read it, but he seems like he'd be a better Hollywood-crossover writer than, oh, let's just say JMS, and Deadpool seems like it would be a good fit for him.

I enjoyed Posehn's comics The Last Christmas, which certianly demonstrated a sensibility that lends itself to Deadpool, but it' still Deadpool, so I'll be sitting this one out.

Now, Mike Allred on FF, that's something I can't say no to, even if I'm grossed out by Marvel's business practices lately.

I am in the exact same boat, sitting uncomfortably close to you.

The only ones that've grabbed my attention are Hulk, Iron Man, Fantastic Four/FF and whatever X book Spurrier is doing (that *is* what he's doing I think), but man, them alongside Gambit and Captain Marvel means I might go from no Marvel full stop to a big ole handful. The bastards.

I am waiting for them to end up quadruple shipping each month before changing over to new artists.

Changeling and Socialfist. Check those out.

I am tentatively excited for at least Thor, FF, Hulk, and Deadpool, and want to see how Gillen does on Iron Man, though since that would mean buying comics illustrated by Greg Land, that's not going on my list. Also, Captain America is on top of my list of things I got to get into my life, because Rick Remender and JRJr.

I'm not sure whether going from Larocca to Land is a step up or down, or just a lateral move on the bad art chart.

The only one I'm head over heels for is FF. Uncanny Avengers is going to get a look but I have a feeling once Cassady departs 3 issues in, so will I. The rest is just more of the same shit Marvel's been shoveling that I haven't been buying for the last so many years. Deadpool looks ok, but again, it's still Deadpool. Put those dudes on just about any other character (how about Taskmaster) and I'd be in.
