Does anybody remember those horror/monster comics they put out in the 70's? I found an issue of Doctor Zombie and the Voodoo Vixens in a quarter bin the other day and man, that Cornelius Slocum was some sort of genius. I mean, the script from Mordecai Mortenstern is decent enough, but the way Slocum shades The Ultimate Loa in the big fight at the end of the issue is amaaazing. Is it true there was like a line-wide crossover where the monster books got folded into the universe proper? I tried Wiki-ing it, but my Wiki-fu seems to be weak on this. If anybody remembers what it was called, let me know. I'd love to track that down and read it.
