Oh yeah, that was the Hammerfall back in 82. It actually got cancelled mid series due to a presidential veto where Frankenstein was redesigned to look like Ronald Reagan and there was a ban on it. I'm not surprised most people forgot about it.

Ahh, but what you are forgetting, sir, is that acceptance of the veto is what got controversial Editor in Chief Bill Archer fired from the company. He was already in trouble for allowing inker Dweezil Appaz to slip "Reagan-Bush 1980" into the issue of strong-seller The Mighty Man-Ox, showing the deep conservative leanings of both Archer and Appaz.

It was all in the fanzine Cogito Ergo Comics a few years back, before they tried their disastrous move to an internet site with a paywall. A pity, it was a good read, though often plagued by publishing delays.
