Heres my thing with the Fourth World characters being (re-)introduced in the New 52 DCU: do you really trust the guys who have been in charge of this relaunch to do justice to these concepts and characters?

Cuz I don't.

Geoff Johns, I don't. Scott Snyder, Jeff Lemire, Matt Kindt and Grant Morrison I do.

Of that list, the only one who I'd trust with the New Gods is Morrison, and after the damp squib that has been Action, even that one's dicey.

RE: Every Day I'm Rozumming
It sounds ridiculous, but between OMAC (amazing) and Challengers of the Unknown (mediocre) we have unusually good odds of Dan Didio being the right man to bring a kirby creation like the New Gods back, more so if you look at how he's done just that with Giffen in OMAC #6 to pretty great effect, though it's nothing more than a tease.

Though to be honest I don't think anyone currently writing at DC has the chops to pull it off in a way people'll care for, unless James Robinson takes his verboseness and adapts it into that immense writing that can only be called Kirby dialogue.
