Slipcase
So I got the new reissue of Officer Downe, and It is such a nice collection that I am thinking of making a slipcase for it. I've got some big pieces cardboard for the prototype, and I'll take it from there.
Any tips?

It's harder than it looks?

Well, I would assume. That's why I've set myself to it, to challenge myself.

A prototype's a good idea, but I'd use a material closer to what you're gonna use in the final product. Just cuz stuff like thickness of bookboard vs. thickness of cardboard can throw the whole thing off.

I took a book-binding class in college and we had to do this kind of thing. It can be rough. Lemme know if you run into any snags.

I had considered the thickness issue, and the cardboard is more of a way to sketch out designs in a way that'll give me more of an idea whether they would work as a put-together thing(as opposed to an abstracted idea/sketch/thing that will also allow me to erase when I need to, not a genuine stand-in for the final material.
And good to know I have someone to come to with questions.

RE: Slipcase
I haven't made much headway, as school stuff has been getting in the way.
