It's like a Slamdance version of Comic-Con happening right across from the Convention Center. It's awesome -- it's got a bar, creator-owned comics for sale and a gallery. I was there Saturday night of Con last year and the place was just jam-packed with awesome people. Mike Allred's band was playing a set inside. I really, really, seriously hope they do it again this year.

Still waiting on press badges, but I'm pretty much in for SDCC. Pretty much the only time I brag about living in San Diego.
