So, blogging....

Well, I'm on my March break right now and I'm considering maybe finally starting a blog. Any tips as to what hosting sites to use (Tumblr? Blogspot?) Tips in general? I get the impression that a good deal of the people here blog so any advice would be appreciated.

I blog, and I recommend Wordpress if you're going for longer text stuff, Tumblr if you're going for shorter stuff.

It depends on what you want to blog about ad what you expect to get about it.
Tumblr is good if you are going for humorous short posts or if you already have a large following, Blogspot is a hassle to modify especially if you don't want to deal with their code, Wordpress.com is a strong first blogging tool with a lot of customization options.

I'd say wordpress is the best choice starting out, but weirdly that's only what I'm using now, after some time on blogspot (for real about their code, it's a hassle) and tumblr (where I've probably misunderstood how to use it, with occasional sprawling essays and nothing else), so really explore everything as need be over time, i'd say
