Alright, just got back from CHIKARA, and I'm going to give that report I promised. I'm going to try to go in direct sequence, though I may mix some things up.

General notes on the show:
It was really, really fun.
I bought a cool Ultramantis Black shirt(the Meat Is Murder cover one)
The announcer guy sounded a lot like Chris Hardwick.


This one was pretty fun, really fast-paced, and Hatfield complimented my moustache at intermission.
Hatfield/Angelosetti won.


This one was pretty great. Kodama/Kobald got eliminated pretty early, and Spectral Envoy after that, leaving this really nice faceoff between the Young Bucks and Donst/Hammermier, which the Bucks won. There was a lot of tension here.


This one was a massacre. Obaryon hit before the bell rung, and just did not let up. It was a barrage, with brief glimpses of hope that were quickly reversed. Obaryon won.

I think this was where the intermission was. I had my picture taken with Mixed Martial Archie and Gavin Loudspeaker(separately, and the Gavin pic was on my bad phone cam)


Don't really remember where this one was, but it was pretty good, tense, with some really great moments.


GodDAMN this one was great, mainly because how it crossed over into...

So the Colony/Swarm match was a little confusing, likely because I couldn't tell the participants apart at first, but once I got which was which, it was fun, with a lot of twists and turns, the best of which was when 17 intervened for The Swarm, and Eddie Kingston came in after him to defend The Colony, causing the Colony to win by disqualification, and that segued into the Kingston/17 match, where 17 and some other guy with pink lightning bolts or something on his tights would just not let up on Eddie's leg. Eddie barely scraped by with the pin, and after that, 17 stole the belt, and The Colony rushed him, which was AWESOME.


This one was just plain fun, from the SHADOW PUPPETS chant at the beginning to the part where Jigsaw paraded Icarus through the crowd and let kids slap him. Jigsaw wins.


Man, this one was kind of fun, but not as fun as the few before it, which kind of ended the show on a sort of down note. It wasn't that there weren't good moments, it's just that after one wrestler parades another wrestler through the audience so children can slap him, the stuff after that's gonna seem a little bland in comparison.
Taylor/Gargano won Los Campeonatos de Parejas.

Overall, I really liked it.
