I've actually contacted Thwipster about shipping to Australia a few times now because this is killing me. I don't know what I would have done if the Walter Simonson Thor omnibus was in there too.

As much as I love omnibi and own quite a few of them, they're really kind of ungainly to try to read. What with the heaviness and all.

Yeah, I had the Daredevil by Frank Miller omnibus and I never read it because it was so uncomfortable to to have on my lap. Try not to buy anything with more than 12-15 issues in it now.

I think I solved the weight problem when I was reading my Captain America omnibus, simply prop it on a pillow next to you and then read at your leisure (or at least until your neck gets sore)

Ok it may not be the best 'fix' in the world.

I'm wary of ordering Omnibuses because of their massive size and cost. I think the maximum for me is the Deluxe hardcover collections like Messiah Complex and Planet Hulk. Anything more than that just becomes impossible to actually read. Looks great on the shelf though.
