How I Met Your Character

Man, I really wish I could remember how I met more of these characters. I guess when I started this thread I was assuming I'd remember more since I remembered Captain America so vividly, but for a lot of them, it just feels like I've always know them.

So how did you guys meet the Legion of Superheroes?

I remember seeing Wizard raving about it for years but never picked it up till Abnett and Lanning's Legion of the Damned arc. I pretty much fell in love by the end of the first issue and their 2/3 years on the book that followed are probably my favourite superhero comics that I've read. Shame DC won't reprint most of it.

My library has the first showcase volume,and the was pretty much the intro. Then I read Waid's first volume, and I was hooked.

I got the showcase volume of Booster Gold and that was the first thing I read with them in it and then when it came out I got the first couple issues of Legion of Supervillains.
