RE: How I Met Your Character
Captain America: I was introduced to the character via the 1990's movie.
I caught it on WGN when I was 7 or so and I geeked out over it hard. Don't know why but I was sold on Captain America from that point on. The Spider-man cartoon and the Heroes Reborn Avengers helped introduced me to him further. Still this movie is the big moment for me. Spider-man: The 1990's animated series was my launching point. From there played countless video games, read hundreds of comics, and even watched that 70's live action show. I was big into Spider-man as a kid. Batman- The Animated Series and the Burton/Schumaker films. Batman and Robin is still my biggest guilty pleasure. Speaking of Julie Newmar I was watching Batman on Hub and holy hell was she hot. Superman: The Cartoon was a big influence. Not the 90's TAS, that would be later, but the Fleischer Cartoons They got airplay on Cartoon Network as a kid and I ate it up. The first Superman comic was also my first comic: ![]() Superman Blue was where it was at! I read this thing cover to cover and I wish I read the full story as a kid, but I only had this issue. It was still amazing, to me at least. New review: XTREME Holofoil Edition: Captain America #407 the thrilling conclusion to Man vs Wolf. http://comicbookrevolution.net/index.php...olf-part-6 |
