RE: So Waid's Daredevil
I haven't gotten the issue yet, because I need to either trade-wait it or see what pops up on the web side of Comixology, but if Mark Waid can get me to read the Legion, he should be able to get any of you on the fence to read Daredevil.
When Waid is on, which is most of the time, he's one of my favorite writers. -Rob |

RE: So Waid's Daredevil
I've never read Daredevil before but I've always been interested in the character. I decided to check this, Ghost Rider and Punisher out.
Holy crap, is it awesome. Excellent art, Waid, and a damn cool character? Sign me up. I can't help it if I've got a heavy flow and a wide set vagina! I'm now on the Tweety! I'm also tumbling! |

RE: So Waid's Daredevil
I think the second issue was even better than the first. The little fight between him and Captain America was just spot on, and their dialogue just sang. The Bru/Bendis/come the demon Etrigan. runs were pretty fantastic, but the change of pace is great, and I can't wait for more.

Yeah, this is such a nice change from Conan O'Brien fighting police in the desert.

RE: So Waid's Daredevil
Two issues in and I'm loving it. Great art and great writing. And then starting with issue #4, Marcos Martin is doing the art. How can you NOT pick up the book?

RE: So Waid's Daredevil
Just read issue #2. Just masterful stuff. Did anybody else notice that whenever Daredevil is on the page, we get these great, large, non-digital sound effects from Pablo RIvera? Like, the sound is amplified when we're "hearing" what Daredevil hears? Because I did. And that is such an awesome thing, guys.

Yeah, it seemed that way to me. |

RE: So Waid's Daredevil
Just finished issue 2. Good stuff for sure.
As predicted, this issue benefitted greatly from having the prerequisite "establish the new status quo" stuff out of the way. As great as Rivera's art has been on both these issues, am I the only one that's just chomping at the bit for Marcos Martin's arc? |

I'm not sure whose idea it was but it instantly highlights how different Daredevil is to other characters without smacking you over the head with 'this is how his powers work' explanations. |

RE: So Waid's Daredevil
LCS didn't have any #1s; they were waiting on a re-order. I think I may go trade waiting on this one.
