i just finished reading Frank Cho's SHANNA THE SHE DEVIL followed by Palmiotti & Gray's SHANNA THE SHE DEVIL: SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST. they're both super fun, but Cho's is waaaaaay better.

Yeah when Dark Horse's website has it plastered over the site the story does seem to loose it's impact.

I'm finally getting to read SCUD since it originally came out. Man it is the 90s in this sucker. Personally the 1st couple issues are a bit rough (similarly to a movie you loved as a kid and then go to watch and see how bad it actual is), but then it starts to find it's groove and everything becomes pretty fun. I remember that I had issues 7 & 8 but because I missed 4,5,6 I stopped reading until I could find those copies. Surprisingly enough I never found them until 17(!) years later. Eh, for the best! I'm enjoying them so much more with my mature older wiser brain!

On top of my crazy backlog of omnibuses (Thor, Captain America, Captain America vol 1, I'm putting in the Dark Phoenix Saga which I never read until it came out in Hard Cover (last year?). I haven't got much far into it (my problem not the books) but it just makes me want 2 things: Claremont Byrne X-Men Omnibus and a Byrne Fantastic Four Omnibus. I AM OBSESSED WITH OMNIBUS' OKAY?

On the other hand, Fantomex.

Koltreg: Wrongest wronger in Wrongville, ladies & gents.

A lot of Morrison's run felt like ideas he had for The Invisibles that he shoe-horned the X-Men into. On top of that, inconsistent art stopped it from being a favorite. There's flashes of greatness there, but that's about it for me.

There is a war coming. A war with 2 sides. One one side you have disgusting subhumans who wallow in their own filth, and on the other? People that understand why Grant Morrison's X-Men run was fantastic.

Glad to know you fight alongside me, brother. Let's RIDE!
Do we need to start a new thread titled "Why You Are Oh So Wrong About Grant Morrison's New X-Men"?

I think we do.
