Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
So anybody else out there wanna discuss Star Wars? Because I am always down for that. Because I have problems.

RE: Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
Empire Strikes Back > A New Hope = Return of the Jedi > Revenge of the Sith > Phantom Menace > Attack of the Clones

I can't help it if I've got a heavy flow and a wide set vagina!
I'm now on the Tweety!
I'm also tumbling!

Thread over.

Check out my podcast, Bat Issues. It's like Tom vs, but about Batman.

I think we are forgetting Ewok Adventure and the Christmas special.

Return of the Jedi is not equal to A New Hope. I mean, honestly.

@dylzzzz - I thought you told me CW got lame in season 3.

RE: Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
It did, but just for like 3 episodes where the focus was on all this Senate negotiation. It's Star Wars, not Star C-SPAN. Then it got all kinds of baller again with the Nightsister Saga, a crazy trip to the planet Mortis and finishing off with an episode where Chewbacca and Asokah wrecked on a bunch of Trandoshan hunters. Which, if you're a Star Wars fan, you know that that is waaaay awesome.

RE: Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
I've watched all of CW s2 and it was really good. A few duds, but even those tried to do something interesting (how many shows would even think about adapting Kurosawa's Stray Dog?). I've seen the 2nd half of s3 and some of early s3. There have been a few episodes (mostly the clone-oriented ones) that have made me tear up. And Asokah is no where near the character that she was in the movie; I not only tolerate her, but I enjoy the character (I think wearing a shirt helped - it's less creepy to watch a tween running around in a tunic than a tube top).

Empire is the best one, sure, but A New Hope is better than everyone remembers and Jedi is worse than everyone remembers. I personally dig A New Hope the most, even though it's obvious Lucas hasn't completely thought a lot of it through. Pretty sure Vader isn't written as Anakin Skywalker until Empire. At least that's what I've heard, and when you rewatch A New Hope you can kind of see that.
