It's not that severe for me, but my enthusiasm is severely dampened.

I was all talked out of seeing the Prequels in 3D, but my daughter saw the commercial and got all kinds of excited. And I can't deny that. Plus, at 7, she's the perfect age for The Phantom Menace to be enjoyable.

Oh, I forgot to mention, BRR, I started watching Clone Wars. I'm sorry I ever doubted this show. The first season started off slowly and kind of boring, but it definitely ramped up by the end. I'm halfway through season 2 right now and I love it.

Dat glorious Cad Bane.

I can't help it if I've got a heavy flow and a wide set vagina!
I'm now on the Tweety!
I'm also tumbling!

Yeah, exactly, my boys are 6 & 9 and they will not allow us to miss it.

I've gotta ask though, isn't a lot of the movie totally boring to her? Trade disputes, senate votes, come the demon Etrigan?

The 15-minute pod race will literally punch you in the face this time.

Maybe? I honestly have never like sat them down and shown them the Prequels. We don't own them on DVD or anything. We watch The Clone Wars together, though. That's the extent of their interaction with that part of the Star Wars Universe.

RE: Star Wars … Talking 'Bout Staaar Wars
Out of all the terrible things in the Phantom Menace, the sheer laziness of putting a midget in a baby Greedo suit to run around with all those kids is the worst. The one case where maybe CGI would've been the way to go instead of a practical effect.

I read that as a "putting a midget baby in a Greedo suit".

Changeling and Socialfist. Check those out.
