Video Doctor Who
I thought I might as well start up a Doctor Who thread. Who else will be glued to their TV set on August 27th? I was thinking we could post spoilers as they air as long as you CLEARLY MARK IT AS A SPOILER

RE: Doctor Who
FINALLY.

I think Luke's setting up spoiler codes or whatever so we can use that in posts.

RE: Doctor Who
Ooh, you mean that invisible text you gotta highlight to see? That would be PERFECT.

RE: Doctor Who
I wish I was glued to a TV. By the time the 27th rolls around I will have already moved into a dorm room for college. We only get basic cable in our rooms and I will not get my butt kicked out of school for torrenting Doctor Who. It pains me every time I see something about the upcoming episodes.

RE: Doctor Who
Thank you for mentioning spoilers. I don't get BBCAmerica (it's not available on ANY cable provider in the area) so I'm stuck waiting for the dvds to see series 6. Hopefully I can see it during the winter break, but I'll probably have to wait until next summer. Sad

I also feel your pain Palmer. My school doesn't get a lot of channels; we don't get BBCA, The Hub (I didn't get to experience MLP:FiM until I got home for the summer), Disney (for The Avengahs and P&F), or Animal Planet.

RE: Doctor Who
Can you afford the iTunes purchase? I think they're available the next day. If any of your roommates like the show you could each pay a bit.

Are they really available next day? Because if they are that would be the best thing ever.

RE: Doctor Who
The last thing I want to do is spoil it for anyone. I've had 'local' viewers spoil a new Who episode before it airs in the US. OTOH, I like discussing new episodes. The spoiler tag would be a perfect solution.

It sounds like a Who episode that airs on Saturday in the USA is available Sunday morning on iTunes. The exception being if the USA airing is delayed. If that happens the iTunes release will be delayed too.

RE: Doctor Who
iTunes is getting more and more shows that are actually worth paying to see (if you can't get them any other way and simply cannot wait for the DVDs).

RE: Doctor Who
I literally can't wait for this. I'll be sat Sonic in hand on the 27th.

Have you all seen the prequel for this episode? It was released a few days ago. Excellent stuff.
